Our story
Started in Houston in 2010. Still answering the phone.
Southgate opened with a straightforward idea: commercial insurance rewards attention. The agencies that read the contract, ask about the subcontractor, and check the replacement value are the ones whose clients survive their worst day.
More than a decade later, we insure contractors, professional firms, real estate investors, and hospitality operators across Texas. Some of those relationships began in our first year. Several arrived after another agency declined the risk.
We are deliberately independent and deliberately hands-on. When you call, you reach the person who knows your file — not a queue.
